STNA School
A STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) works with patients to provide common basic care services such as assisting with bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, grooming, checking vital signs, toileting, range of motion exercises, wheelchairs and/or walkers, catheter care, and more
The primary role of a STNA is to assist patients. This allows them to work closely with patients – often passing on vital patient information to the nurse or physician.
A STNA Certification is required to work in a Nursing Home in the State of Ohio and is highly encouraged in other health care environments – often proven by an increased pay rate compared to non-tested Aides. STNAs play a vital role in the health care field!
Whether your goal is to pursue a career as an STNA or to further your education in the health care field, this course is a great asset! Being a STNA will open up many opportunities for employment as the certification is accepted at most health care locations – including hospitals, home health agencies, mental care facilities, nursing homes, hospice homes, and more.
Our course meets all of the requirements for the State of Ohio and has been approved by the Ohio Department of Health. Once completed, our students are eligible to take the State Test for certification.
